ABOUT ELVARON
Considered work.
No unnecessary weight.
We are a small advisory practice in Johor Bahru, focused entirely on manufacturing operations. The work we do is written, specific, and grounded in what we observe on the floor.

How Elvaron came to be.
Elvaron Consulting was founded in Johor Bahru after a period working inside production environments across the Iskandar Malaysia corridor. What became clear over those years was that most small manufacturers were not short of effort — they were short of a patient outside perspective that would spend time on their floor without arriving with a predetermined answer.
The practice was set up to offer exactly that: structured observation, honest written output, and engagements sized to the actual question rather than to a billing target. We have kept the scope narrow on purpose. Manufacturing operations is what we know, and it is where we are useful.
The name Elvaron comes from a word for a measured pour — the idea of filling something carefully, without spilling. That is roughly how we think about the work: taking in what is actually happening before drawing any conclusions.
WHAT WE STAND FOR
The principles behind the practice.
Written over verbal
A slide presented in a meeting fades. A document your team can return to six months later is a different thing. Every engagement ends with something written.
Observation before opinion
We spend time looking before we say anything. Floor observation, conversations with supervisors, production data — these come first. The written note comes after.
Refinement, not renovation
Our aim is not to tell you that everything needs to change. It is to find where considered adjustments to what already exists would make a practical difference.
Honest about limits
If a question falls outside what we can address well, we say so. We would rather refer you to someone better placed than produce a report that is only nominally relevant.
THE TEAM
The people doing the work.
Razif Azman
PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT
Fifteen years across production environments in Johor and Selangor. Razif leads all floor engagements and is the primary author of each written review.
Siti Nur Tahira
OPERATIONS ANALYST
Trained in industrial engineering at UTM. Siti handles production data analysis, process mapping, and the structured notes that accompany each engagement.
Lim Kah Wai
CLIENT LIAISON
Manages scheduling, engagement coordination, and ensures the working sessions run without friction. First point of contact for new enquiries.
HOW WE WORK
Protocols we hold ourselves to.
Written-first discipline
Every conclusion we reach is written in plain language before it is communicated verbally. This holds us to precision and gives clients a reference document.
Client data handling
Production figures, staffing data, and internal documents shared with us are held in confidence and destroyed at engagement end unless otherwise agreed.
Observation logging
Floor visits are documented in structured observation logs, timestamped and cross-referenced against production data before any written note is drafted.
No vendor relationships
We do not receive referral fees or commissions from equipment suppliers, software vendors, or contractors. Our recommendations are unaffected by outside commercial interests.
Fixed-scope engagements
Each engagement has a defined scope, deliverable, and fee. We do not expand scope mid-engagement without client agreement and a revised quote.
PDPA compliance
All client and contact data is handled in accordance with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010. We keep only what is necessary and for no longer than needed.
ABOUT OUR PRACTICE
Operations consulting with a floor perspective.
Manufacturing operations advisory in Malaysia covers a wide range of activities — from large transformation programmes for multinational plants to brief written responses for a single production question. Elvaron sits at the smaller, more focused end of that range. We work with plant managers, operations directors, and business owners who want an outside perspective that is honest, specific, and delivered in a format they can actually use.
The three engagements we offer — the full Manufacturing Operations Engagement, the Lead Time Inquiry, and the Floor Note — are sized to reflect the kind of question being asked. A Floor Note addresses a single, bounded question. A Lead Time Inquiry maps a specific flow problem. The Operations Engagement examines the breadth of a production floor over eight to ten weeks. Each has a clear deliverable and a fixed fee.
We are based in Johor Bahru and work primarily with manufacturers in the southern corridor of Peninsular Malaysia — Johor, Melaka, and the southern edge of Negeri Sembilan. We are familiar with the production environment, the workforce composition, and the supplier networks that shape operations in this region. That familiarity matters when reading a floor correctly.
Our work is not tied to software implementation, equipment procurement, or ongoing retainer arrangements. We produce written findings and working notes. What you choose to do with those findings is your decision.
