How an Elvaron engagement runs.
Every engagement begins with a scoping conversation. We want to understand what the actual question is before we suggest which format is appropriate. Sometimes a Floor Note resolves it. Sometimes the question has wider roots that a Lead Time Inquiry or full Operations Engagement would address more completely.
Once the engagement begins, we observe before we conclude. Floor visits are logged systematically. We speak with line supervisors and operators, not only with management. Production data is reviewed against what we observe, and any contradictions between the two are noted explicitly.
The written output is drafted, shared for factual review, and refined. We do not publish findings that have not been checked for accuracy against the client's own records. The final document is yours to keep and distribute internally as you see fit.
STEP 1
Scoping conversation
Understand the question and agree the right engagement.
STEP 2
Floor observation
Logged, timestamped visits during production.
STEP 3
Data review
Cross-reference observation against production records.
STEP 4
Written review
Draft, verify for accuracy, deliver final document.
ORDER REF: EC-001
Manufacturing Operations Engagement
8–10 weeks | RM 3,200
A patient engagement for small and mid-sized manufacturers wishing to walk through their operations alongside an outside reader. Over eight to ten weeks we spend time on the floor, sit with line supervisors, and prepare a written review covering throughput rhythms, changeover practice, scrap and rework patterns, and the small disciplines of housekeeping that quietly shape output. The aim is considered refinement of what already works.
- Written operations review covering throughput, changeover, scrap, housekeeping
- Job-by-job notes sheet for line supervisors
- Four working sessions with operations leads
- One follow-up call after document delivery
ORDER REF: EC-002
Lead Time Inquiry
6 weeks | RM 2,750
A focused engagement on a single concern: where the days are spent between order receipt and delivery to customer. We map the full path, identify the points at which time is gathered without value, and prepare a measured note with three or four practical refinements. The engagement does not promise a particular reduction; rather, it sets out clearly where the time goes and where the better candidates for adjustment lie.
- End-to-end path mapping from order receipt to delivery
- Identification of non-value-adding time accumulation points
- Measured written note with three to four practical refinements
- One follow-up call after document delivery
ORDER REF: EC-003
Floor Note
2 weeks | RM 820
A short written response to a single operational question — for instance, whether a particular bottleneck warrants capital investment or a process redesign first, or how to think about staffing for a known seasonal peak. Roughly fifteen hundred words, delivered within two weeks, with one follow-up call. Useful for plant managers and operations directors weighing a particular question before fuller work.
- ~1,500 word written response to a single question
- Delivered within two weeks of scoping call
- One follow-up call included
- Clear, actionable conclusion with reasoning

PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS
What holds across all three engagements.
Client data confidentiality
Production data, staffing records, and internal documents are held in strict confidence and destroyed at engagement close unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Fixed scope, no overruns
Scope is agreed before work begins. We do not expand it mid-engagement without client agreement and a revised written quote.
Accuracy-checked deliverables
Every written output is shared with the client for factual review before the final version is issued. We do not publish findings that contradict the client's own records without noting the discrepancy explicitly.
Vendor independence
No referral fees from equipment suppliers, software vendors, or contractors. Findings are unaffected by external commercial interests.
PDPA compliance
Contact and client data is handled in accordance with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
Principal-led throughout
The principal consultant conducts the floor observations and authors the written review. Work is not delegated to a junior analyst after the scoping conversation.
